Biography
Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965) was a multifaceted figure, best known for his work as a theologian, organist, writer, humanitarian, philosopher, and physician. In 1913, he founded the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Lambaréné, French Equatorial Africa, where he dedicated his life to medical and humanitarian work. Schweitzer's notable achievements include his 1906 book "The Quest of the Historical Jesus," which significantly influenced theological studies, and his 1952 Nobel Peace Prize for his philosophy of "Reverence for Life."
