"آیا نمیدانی که ساعتی از نیمهشب میرسد که همه مجبورند نقاب خود را بردارند؟ آیا باور داری که زندگی همیشه اجازه خواهد داد با آن بازی شود؟"
— Soren Kierkegaard
Simplified Meaning:
At some point, everyone has to show who they really are, without pretending or hiding behind a fake appearance. Imagine wearing a mask at a party to look like someone you're not. Eventually, you have to take off the mask, and people will see the real you. Similarly, in life, you can't always pretend to be something you're not because the truth will come out. If you keep treating life like a game, not taking it seriously, there will be a moment when you have to face reality. For example, a person who lies about their skills will eventually be asked to prove them and won't be able to continue the lie. So it's better to be honest and genuine from the start.
